ProcureOne are currently partnering an established organisation helping them to recruit a new Procurement Manager.
Reporting to a Head of Procurement you will be a procurement leader who will:
- Lead the development of Category Strategy to drive innovation, value and efficiencies across a range of areas for the business (direct and indirect)
- Analyse market trends
- Lead tenders processes including RFI’s, RFQ’s for goods and services.
- Manage commercial negotiations, driving cost efficiencies whilst ensuring true value is achieved.
- Supplier Risk – ensuring the relevant governance and controls are in place and to mitigate against risk.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Business Partner a range of managers in the organisation to support them early on new and ongoing projects.
- Supplier Relationship Management – Drive supplier performance to bring about strong business outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Team Management – Lead a procurement team motivating and developing a collaborative team environment.
- Develop processes, tools and systems (P2P and S2P)
- Ensure accurate reporting and present to board members
- Sustainable procurement – deliver on the companies ESG objectives
Suitable candidates will have worked in Construction, Utilities, Engineering type environments. You will be a strong team manager with excellent interpersonal skills.
This position will require the person to work 3 days in the office per week.
