Senior Purchasing Manager

A growing British Electronic Manufacturer are currently looking to recruit a new Senior Purchasing Manager to their UK based team.
Leading a team of 4 in Purchasing / Procurement you will drive Procurement and Supply Chain across the group which will include:
Leading on Strategic Sourcing for a range of technical electronic components and parts
Develop fit for purpose category strategy.
Negotiate high level contracts (ideally within electronic manufacturing – SMT / P&P Lines)
Manage and develop Supplier Relationships (SLAs and KPIs)
Lead on MI reporting and develop process and systems (strong Oracle and ERP Systems)
Liaise with the production team to meet stock level targets.
Ensure Purchase Orders are delivered on time and to budget.
Lead on Supplier Risk and source alternative components where required.
Ensure health and safety and environmental targets are met.
Suitable candidates will have excellent team management experience with the ability to coach and develop. You will have a positive mindset and enjoy the challenge of a fast growing company. Preference would be for previous Electronic Manufacturing industry experience.
The company offer a salary up to £85k and a flexi approach (hours not location).
